To move from one place to another we humans or any living being needed their legs. Without them, it will be a hard life to lead. For a car, it’s the tires. A good tire can also save passengers from serious life and death situations.

There are a lot of brands manufacturing tires. So, choosing the right one can be hard. You may want to give Fuzion tires a chance. Let us find out who makes Fuzion tires? We will also try to find out how they are better or worse than other brands.

Later in this article, we will pick one of their products and give our thoughts about it. If you are planning to get one for yourself, this section may help you.

About The Manufacturer

Fuzion is the subsidiary of the Bridgestone group. So the manufacturing and the distribution rights to the Fuzion tires are in the hands of Bridgestone. Mainly known as Bridgestone Corporation, they are a Japanese multinational auto and truck parts manufacturer.

The Bridgestone Corporation started its journey in 1931 from the brilliant mind of Shojiro Ishibashi. They started their journey in Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan.

The name Bridgestone came from a calque translation of the word Ishibashi which means “stone bridge” in Japanese. They are one of the most famous tire manufacturers in the world. As of 2022, they were the largest tire manufacturer in the world.

From a 2018 report, Bridgestone has 181 production facilities in 24 countries. For a long period, they have been manufacturing one of the finest tires in the market and are still committed to doing so.

Where are They Made?

Bridgeton does not produce all of its tires everywhere. Depending on the demand and lifestyle of that area, they try to manufacture near that area. You will say a lot of people claim all the Fuzion tires are made in China. Well, this is not 100% true.

Well, some of the Fuzion tires are made in China but they have a lot of them made in the USA too. You can ensure the tires’ manufacturing destination from the DOT code they have in them. The first alphanumeric sequence represents where they are made.

If you want to check that by yourself then here’s what the alphanumeric code represents.

  • 0B, W2, Y2 – Wilson, North Carolina.
  • 1C, HY – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • 2C, 4D, 5D – Morrison, Tennessee.
  • 2M, 3M – Bloomington, Illinois.
  • 7X, 8X, 9X – Graniteville, South Carolina.
  • 8B, VE, YE, YU – Des Moines, Iowa.
  • D2, E3, W1, Y7 – Lavergne, Tennessee.
  • YD – Decatur, Illinois.

Are Fuzion Tires Any Good?

Bridgestone has been producing tires for a long time and they have a huge collection of products in the same or different brands. Fuzion is Bridgestone’s household line of inexpensive tires. That doesn’t necessarily make Fuzion tires bad. They get the job done.

The main concern for a low-end tire is its sudden blowout or flat. Fortunately, Fuzion tire has solved these issues and provides great tires at a somewhat lower price point. The design of that tire is determined to provide the rider with a quiet ride and all-season traction on dry or wet roads.

Unfortunately, the problem begins when we are testing this tire brand in the snow. Fuzion tires are not so great with the snow so we do not recommend using a Fuzion tire where snow covers the road most of the year. Rather go for winter/snow tires in that case.

🔷 Features

One of the reasons we love Fuzion tires so much is what they feature in such a low price range. They feature a twin steel belt base construction, reinforced with a nylon cap.

The tread compound is infused with silica gel, and the tire’s external design has patterned grooves and siping Which is very rare in this price range. The tire design, look, and feel are premium. Do not expect to compete for this tire with high-end tires because it’s obvious.

🔷 Controlling

You need to keep in mind that it is a low-end tire. Considering the price point and comparing it with other tires from the same price point, controlling this tire is better than any other product in the market. This tire gets the job done pretty well.

🔷 Warranty

Fuzion tires come with a great warranty. in the first 2/32-inch of treadwear, you can get free service from any Fuzion tire store. But from that point to the final 2/32-inch of tread wear within the first year of ownership, you can get a replacement on a prorated basis.

Now the question is: How many miles do Fuzion tires last? It depends on the tire we are using. From testing various tires this is an approximate result.

  • Fuzion AT 45,000 miles
  • Fuzion Touring 55,000 miles
  • Fuzion SUV 50,000 miles
  • Fuzion UHP Sport AS 40,000 miles

Fuzion Tire Review

As we mentioned before Fuzion has a lot to offer as a tire brand. Here we are choosing their Touring tire and putting our thoughts into it.

🔷 Fuzion Touring Tires Review

This is a premium tire at a discount price. The Fuzion Touring tires are a great product. Considering the price point this tire is a great game-changer in the budget segment. This tire is for all seasons so you can use it whenever you want.

The price point can be a lifesaver for those who need a great tire but have some issues with the budget. The grip and cornering ability are excellent. The best part is the tire doesn’t make an annoying sound.

Conclusion

Bridgestone has a long record of providing its customers with top-quality products with great services. For those who are looking for something that gets the job done but also doesn’t lack in quality, we recommend their Fuzion tire segment.
